Henderson State women's tennis coach
Brenda Joiner announced the signing of three student-athletes to play next fall for the Reddies.
Signing National Letters of Intent where Alisha Davis of Jessieville High School, Sydney Parker from The Woodlands (Texas) High School and Mariah Bartlett of Smithson Valley (Texas) High School.
Davis was a four-year letter winner for Jessieville where she was a three-time all-conference selection and a 2015 Class 3A All-State pick.
Davis was 14-0 in singles play as a senior and 11-0 her junior season.
A three-sport athlete, Davis also lettered four years in golf and two years in bowling. She helped lead the Lions to the Class 3A State-Championship in golf while earning All-State honors.
Parker was a district champion this past season and earned a spot on the All-Area Team. A four-time letterwinner at The Woodlands High School in Texas, she helped lead her team to an area championship and regional appearance.
Bartlett comes to Henderson State after lettering four years at Smithson Valley High School.
A four-time Academic All-District honoree and three-time regional qualifier, Bartlett compiled a 33-2 record during her senior year.
During her four years at SVHS, Bartlett had a career record of 123-17.
