Bill Thompson was a three-year letterman in both basketball and baseball during the 1957-59 seasons. Thompson’s basketball accomplishments include being a part of the AIC Championship Team of 1958 and being selected to the All-AIC team in 1958 and 1959. He led the Reddies in assists and steals all three years while averaging 18.3 points per game in his junior year and 19.8 points per game his senior year
