Buckley participated in volleyball from 1990-93. She was a First All-Conference player under Rhonda Thigpen in 1991. Buckley was the first player in AIC history to earn All-American honors in volleyball, All-AIC and 3rd Team NAIA All-American in 1992, MVP of NAIA District 17 and Gulf South Conference in 1993, and First-Team NAIA All-American in 1993. She was a member of the NAIA All-Tournament Team in 1992 and 1993 and led Henderson to the NAIA Final Four in 1992 and 1993.
