Chris Lockheart played basketball at HSU from 1975-79. During Lockheart’s four years here, the Reddies combined to have a 109-18 overall record, which included four AIC championships, three District 17 championships and three NAIA Final Four appearances. In the 1976-77 season, Lockheart racked up 474 points (13.9 per game) – second best on the team. Two seasons later, Lockheart was team best in total rebounds (184), which averaged out to just over five rebounds a game – also a team best.
