White was an instructor and professor at Henderson from 1963-94. She served as swimming coach from 1963-82, director of Reddie Ripples synchronized swimming club, and coordinator of the recreation degree program. She received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Arkansas Recreation and Parks Association and recognition from the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame for her participation in the first Women’s Professional Baseball League.
