Henderson State University Athletics

Rhone played football from 1971-74 and was an All-AIC from 1971-74, NAIA  All-District in 1974, and was a NAIA  All-American in 1974. Rhone went on to play 10 years with the Miami Dolphins. He was named defensive captain in 1982. He started in the 1983 Super Bowl and led all tacklers with fourteen. He was inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame in 1988.
