A four-year letterman at the guard position, Harold “Mac” Maciejewski was a two-sport athlete at Henderson State, playing football and running track. He was a unanimous selection for the Arkansas College All-State football team by the league’s coaches both as a junior and senior. Selected co-captain his senior year, Mac was also co-captain of the College All-Stars in the Rock Bowl played in Little Rock on Jan. 1, 1942. Mac was voted the Most Outstanding Athlete at Henderson during his senior year. He was awarded the chance to play professionally when he signed a contract in 1942 with the Cleveland Rams. In 1946, he went on to play with the Los Angeles Rams
