The pioneer of women’s basketball at Henderson, Jane Sevier began the Lady Reddie program in 1968 and continued to lead Henderson State University until 1987. During that time, she won Arkansas State championships in 1969, 1972, 1973, and 1974. After giving up her head coaching duties on the basketball court, she shifted venues to the tennis courts, where she coached the tennis team until retiring from Henderson in 1991. A member of the Henderson teaching staff from 1966 to 1991, Sevier totaled 188 wins during her career as head coach of the Lady Reddies.
