Duke participated in golf from 1989-92. He was a four-time All-AIC and four-time AIC Player of the Year. He holds the AIC record for stroke average in a season (68.4) and was the 1992 NAIA All-American. Duke became the first Henderson player to play in a PGA event (1996 Greater Vancouver Open). He also played in the 1997 British Open, spent 1995 on the Nike Tour. He played on the Canadian Tour from 1996-99, and finished second at the 1996 Canadian Masters. He earned his PGA Tour Card in 2004. Duke was the leading money-winner on the Nationwide Tour in 2006 and was named Player of the Year. He has been a member of the PGA Tour in 2004, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2012. In 2008 he had the best season of his professional career, with four top-10s and 10 top-25s on the PGA TOUR. In 2013, Duke recorded his first win on the PGA Tour by winning the Travlers Championship.
