Louise Bartlett-Ross swam at Henderson State from 1988 to 1992. Ross was a four-time All-Conference selection and a four-time NAIA and College Swimming Coaches All-American, as well as receiving 21 Honorable Mention All-American nods. Ross was a Red Wave Swim Team Captain in 1991 and 1992, and was named Arkansas Female Swimmer of the Year in 1992. She also excelled in the classroom, earning Conference Scholar Athlete all four years and was a two-time Academic All-American. In 1989, she was the co-high point winner at the New South Intercollegiate Swimming Championships where she earned Conference Co-Swimmer of the Year and helped lead the Lady Red Wave to the NSISL Championship.
