The late Randy Henry was a four-year letterman at Henderson State from 1965-68. As a freshman, Henry led the NAIA in batting average, hitting .500. A two time All-AIC selection, Henry was captain of his team his senior season, and was chosen as a NAIA All-American. After graduation from Henderson, Henry completed his graduate studies at the University of Arkansas and the University of Tennessee. He started his career as a teacher and coach and was named ‘Coach of the Year’ three times.
