Henderson State’s head volleyball coach since 1990, Coach Rhonda Thigpen has compiled more than 700 career coaching victories to become one of the most successful coaches in the history of Henderson State University athletics. Since becoming a member of Division II, Thigpen has guided HSU to five Gulf South Conference championships and to its first-ever appearance in the NCAA tournament in 2001. Thigpen was inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame in 2011.
