One of the hardest hitters to ever suit up for the Reddies on the gridiron, Robert Hester was a three-time All-AIC honoree at linebacker from 1974 to 1977. Hester earned Honorable Mention All-AIC recognition in 1975 and was a First Team All-AIC selection in both 1976 and 1977. During his time in Arkadelphia, the Reddies saw great success, and boasted a record of 39-6 overall during his career. Hester was a member of three AIC championship teams in 1974, 1975, and 1977, and helped the Reddies win the Bicentennial Bowl at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock in 1975.
