Roy G. Green was a Second-Team All-AIC basketball selection in 1950 and 1951.
He averaged 11.8 points per game during the 1949-50 season and 11.7 points the following year. He was the point guard for the Reddie teams that included Jim Mac Sawyer, Bobby Reese, Bill Groce, Delwin Ross and Dwight Jones.
Green served as the Student Body President, was ROTC Battalion Commander, and the Founding Chairman of Arkansas Association of Student Governments.
Green served in Presidents Ford, Carter, and Reagan Administrations, was on the Founding Board of Trustees of the Appraisal Foundation, was the National President of Banking Trade Organization, and president and CEO of five banking institutions.
In 2011 he received the Henderson State Distinguished Alumni Award.
