Sarah Gipson earned Great American Conference co-Player of the Week for her accomplishments last weekend at the 8-States Softball Invitational.

Gipson led Henderson State to a 4-0 record after posting a .727 average going 8-for-11 at the plate.

The senior first-baseman drove in 13 runs, while having two home runs and sporting a 1.364 slugging percentage.

The product of Grand Saline, Texas drove in multiple runs in all four games including five runs in the finale against Lindenwood.

On the season, Gibson is hitting .541 (20-of-37) with 24 runs batted in and four home runs.
