Keirsten Seahorn was named the Great American Conference Hitter of the Week for her performance last week against Southwestern Oklahoma.

Seashorn helped lead Henderson State to a series sweep over the Bulldogs going 7-for-14 at the plate.

The sophomore catcher had a double, four runs batted in and scored seven runs in the four-game series.

The product of Gilmer, Texas had a hit and scored a run in all four games including going 3-for-4 in the second game of the series.
