kevin Rodegers registered an impressive 360 yards passing and four touchdowns in HSU's 63-21 win over Southern Nazarene in the opening week of the 2012 season. That stellar performance through the air has resulted in Rodgers earning Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors.
 In the first quarter alone, Rodgers was 9-of-11 in passing for 153 yards including touchdown strikes of 31, 6, and 40 yards. At the end of the first half, Rodgers was over 300 yards passing (306 yards) and had completed 22-of-30 passes. The 360 yards passing he would end the game with are a career-high for Rodgers and it is also the second consecutive game that he has amassed 300+ yards in the air.
