Nichols did a lot of the hard running for Henderson in their 42-7 win over Ouachita Baptist University in the 2012 Southern Bancorp Battle of the Ravine as he found the end zone four times with his longest TD rush being 17 yards. Nichols ended the game with 60 yards on 17 carries with the four touchdowns
