Henderson State wide receiver Darius Davis has been named the Great American Conference Co-offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Saturday's 72-7 win over Southern Nazarene.

Playing just the first half, Davis managed to set an HSU and GAC record with five touchdown receptions.

The senior from Frisco, Texas had 10 catches for 217 yards and totaled 266 all-purpose yards.

Davis went over the 200 yard mark for the third time in his career and now needs just 293 yards to surpass Jarius Wright (2008-11) of the University of Arkansas for most career receiving yards by a receiver from an Arkansas collegiate playing institution.
