Lady Reddies Lose to Southeastern Oklahoma

On Friday evening the Henderson State women's volleyball team made their final trip of the year to Oklahoma to take on Great American Conference opponent Southeastern Oklahoma, but left with a 3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-22) loss.

The opening set of the match went to Southeastern Oklahoma, 25-21. The Savage Storm (12-15, 8-3 GAC) followed it up with a dominant 25-13 win in the second set and a 25-22 victory in the third set to earn the sweep. It was the second time this season that the Storm knocked off the Lady Reddies (4-23, 0-11 GAC) in straight sets. The first came nearly a month ago back in Arkadelphia.

Seven different Lady Reddies recorded at least one kill in the match. Sophomore outside hitter Ty Lindberg led the team with 10 kills. She also recorded her 12th double-double as she notched a season-high 18 digs.

The Lady Reddies return to action for the road version of the Battle of the Ravine as they will take on Ouachita Baptist University on Tuesday, October 25th starting at 7:00 p.m.
