SEARCY, Ark. – The Henderson State women's volleyball team traveled to Searcy, Ark. to take on Harding University and were defeated by Harding in three sets by scores of 25-11, 25-9, and 25-9 on Tuesday night in the Rhodes Fieldhouse.
 
The Lady Bisons (13-4, 6-0 GAC) used a dominant offensive performance to power past the Lady Reddies (3-12, 0-5 GAC) as they compiled 40 kills on 85 attacks and committed only nine attack errors for an attack percentage of .385. Conversely, the Lady Reddies were unable to mount an effective attack as they managed just 11 kills on 80 attacks.
 
Jessica Moss, Ty Lindberg, and Yaritza Santiago each ended the match with three kills to lead the team. Moss also led the team in blocks with four block assists as the Lady Reddies recorded 10 total blocks as a team. Santiago would end the match with a team-high eight defensive digs.
 
The Lady Reddies will now take a break from Great American Conference play as they will participate in the Southwest Baptist Crossover over the upcoming weekend. Opponents the Lady Reddies will face in the two-day tournament include, Southwest Baptist University, the University of Nebraska-Kearney, Missouri Southern State University, and Fort Hays University.
