PINE BLUFF, Ark. – The Henderson State women's volleyball team took a break from Great American Conference play on Tuesday night as they traveled to Pine Bluff, Ark. to take on a Division-I opponent in Arkansas-Pine Bluff. UAPB would get the best of the cross-division matchup as they defeated Henderson in four sets by scores of 25-14, 22-25, 25-23, and 25-19.

The Lady Reddies (5-20) were able to bounce back from a set one loss, in which they totaled just five kills, to even the match with a set two win. In that second set, the Lady Reddies led throughout and hammered home 14 kills en route to the 25-23 win.

Sets three and four would go to the Lady Lions (7-13) as Henderson's offensive attack struggled and committed 11 attack errors over the two sets.

Junior outside hitter Ty Lindberg would lead the Lady Reddies in both kills and digs as she registered another double-double. Lindberg ended the match with 13 kills and 12 digs. Senior Lauren Ray stepped into a new role as the Lady Reddies' primary setter and paced the offense with 27 assists.
