COMMERCE, Texas – The Henderson State University volleyball team (1-8) dropped another match, 25-12, 25-10 and 25-11 to Texas A&M University-Commerce (9-2) for the second time this season.
In a 3-0 sweep, HSU only managed to rack together 26 kills and was held to a .115 attack percentage. TAMU-Commerce amassed 45 kills and hit nearly .500 at .488.
The Lions managed to accumulate 12 of their total points on service aces alone.

Katrina Goulbourne (Visalia, Calif.) led all Lady Reddies with nine kills on 18 attempts, putting up one of her best performances of the season with a .444 attack percentage.
Jessica Moss (Jr., Garland, Texas) added seven kills and one block in the Thursday matchup.

Cheyenne Derr (Mansfield, Ark.) were the Lady Reddies key defenders, posting nine and eight digs, respectively.
HSU will return to the court on Sept. 24 to continue Great American Conference play, squaring off against Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Ark. at 7 p.m.
