Box Score 2 Henderson State dropped a pair of volleyball matches on Saturday as Alabama-Huntsville and East Central swept the Reddies in three straight sets.
Henderson State, 3-20 overall and 0-11 in the GAC, began the day losing to Alabama-Huntsville, 25-20, 25-14, and 25-18.
Jessica Moss collected 13 kills and compiled a .381 attack percentage in the match, while
Nayeli Colunga had 7 spikes.
Defensively,
Andjela Reljic totaled 22 digs.
The Reddies then dropped a GAC match to East Central by scores of 28-26, 25-17, and 30-28.
Henderson was limited to 27 kills for a .061 attack percentage, while East Central hit .188 with 52 kills.
Moss again led Henderson's offense with 10 spikes and a .259 attack percentage.
Zara Loye had a career-high five service aces in the match to go along with four defensive digs.
Henderson State will hit the road Tuesday for a pair of matches against Arkansas-Monticello and Mississippi Valley State. The Reddies will face the Cotton Blossoms at 3 p.m. and the Delta Devils at 5 p.m. in Monticello.
