Box Score Henderson State could not overcome Harding's offensive attack percentage of .384 as the Bisons beat the Reddies in straight sets, Thursday in Searcy.
Harding, 11-5 overall and 6-2 in the Great American Conference won the first two sets 25-12 and 25-10.
The Bisons outhit Henderson .407 to .061 in the opening set with Harding having 13 kills compared to Henderson's 7 spikes.
In the second set, Harding had 18 kills to Henderson's 7 with the Bisons having an astonishing .571 attack percentage.
The Reddies regrouped and led most of the third set until Harding rallied late to win 26-24 to take the match.
The Bisons edged the Reddies with 17 spikes to 15, but Henderson had five blocks in the set.
Jessica Moss had 11 kills for Henderson in the match, with
Violet Williams adding eight winners.
Ryleigh Thompson again led Henderson in set assists with 18, while
Andjela Reljic had 12 defensive digs.
Henderson State returns home Friday for a non-conference match against Oklahoma Panhandle State. First serve is set for 6 p.m. at the Duke Wells Center. Â
