Henderson State fell on the road against East Central on Saturday afternoon in five sets.

After losing the first set 26-24, the Reddies rallied to win the next two sets 25-17 and 25-18, but the Tigers fought back and claimed the fourth set 25-16.

In the final set, East Central capitalized off of five Reddie errors to win the set 15-9, and the match 3-2.

Nayeli Colunga led the way for the Reddies with 12 kills to go along with 12 digs and 2 service aces.

Kaylie Pyles recorded 10 kills, and Jessica Moss 9, while Andjela Reljic had 22 digs.

Leading the way for the Reddies in set assists was Ryleigh Thompson having 20, and Samantha Sawyer with 14.

Henderson State falls to 4-25 on the season, with a 0-13 record in the Great American Conference.

The Reddies will next travel to Commerce, Texas to face Texas A&M-Commerce on Tuesday, with the first set slated to begin at 7 p.m.
