Henderson State avenged an earlier loss to Williams Baptist as the Reddies beat the Eagles 25-22, 21-25, 25-20, and 25-21, Monday in volleyball action at the Duke Wells Center in Arkadelphia, Ark.

The Reddies used a .273 hitting percentage with Nayeli Colunga and Jessica Moss having 19 kills each.

Colunga and Moss had 5 kills each in the opening set, as Henderson outhit Williams Baptist having a .250 attack percentage compared to .188 for the Eagles. The Reddies also got 14 set assists from Ryleigh Thompson to help claim the set.

In the second set, William Baptist tied things at one set each as the Eagles took advantage of seven Henderson attack errors and a pair of serving miscues.

Moss got things going for the Reddies in the third set leading the team with 9 kills and a .533 attack percentage as Henderson won 25-20. Colunga was also instrumental in the win having 5 spikes.

Henderson forced Williams Baptist to commit eight attack errors and three reception errors to win the final set and claim the match.

Moss ended the match with a .378 attack percentage, while Colunga hit .212.

Thompson finished with 46 set assists while Andjela Reljic had 18 digs and a pair of services aces.

Henderson State will hit the road the face Texas Woman's University Tuesday at 5 p.m.
