Box Score Henderson State scored a season-high 84 points and won its second consecutive road game in beating Southern Nazarene 84-67, Thursday in Bethany, Okla.

The Reddies got big performances from
Aungelique Sledge,
Haleigh Henson and
Victoria Stewart as the three accounted for 75 percent of the scoring.
Sledge recorded a double-double having 21 points while grabbing 12 rebounds, while Henson had a career-high 21 points and 7 assists.
Stewart ended the night with 19 points including going 5-of-7 from 3-point range.
"I was really pleased with the way this team played tonight," said head coach
Jill Thomas. "We played smart, got great ball movement and took better shots. It was a total team effort and I am proud to see them come together as a team."
Henderson State led from the opening tip building an early 20-8 lead in the first five minutes of the first half.
Southern Nazarene closed the gap to nine points at the seven-minute mark and ended the half with a 15-7 run to bring the score to 36-35 at halftime.
Henderson State, 4-9 overall and 2-5 in the Great American Conference, held a 44-43 lead with 14:56 to play when
Annie Thomas hit a big 3-point field goal to spark the Reddies.
The Reddies extended their lead to eight points with a 17-10 run as Stewart hit a pair of treys.
The Crimson Storm, 5-8 overall and 2-5 in the GAC, would get no closer as Henderson finished the game with a 31-22 run.
Henderson outrebounded SNU 38 to 33. Aside from Sledge's big rebounding game, Thomas had 9 rebounds to go along with 6 points.
Aminata Fall led SNU with 29 points and eight rebounds while Abby Boyd scored 19 points.

The Reddies shot 48.5 percent from the floor converting on 27-of-64 shots from the field. The Crimson Storm made 27-of-64 shots for 42.2 percent.
The Reddies will next travel to Alva, Okla. to face Northwestern Oklahoma on Saturday with tipoff set for 1 p.m.
