In the second matchup of this season's volleyball "Battle of the Ravine," Henderson State looks to avenge an early season loss to Ouachita on Tuesday night, with first serve set for 6 p.m. at the Duke Wells Center.
Earlier this season, Ouachita defeated Henderson State across the street on Oct. 1.
In that match,
Jessie Jacoby paced the Reddies with 12 total kills while
Ryleigh Thompson contributed 16 set assists.
Jacoby leads HSU averaging 3.4 kills per set this season, while
Brea May is top setter averaging 6.8 assists per set.
Kaylie Pyles has had strong performances lately, averaging 13 kills or better in her last five outings, including a season-high 20 against East Central on Oct. 17.
Defensively,
Sydney Skelton leads the way with 3.6 digs per set.
Ouachita is led by Abby Pickett, who averages four kills per set, while Stormi Leonard is the top setter averaging 11 assists per set.
