The Henderson State men's basketball team could not overcome a 35-to-23 rebounding deficit on Saturday afternoon, as the Reddies fell 53-52 in non-conference action at Lane College in Jackson, Tenn.
HSU was led on the day by
Matt Panaggio, as the sophomore transfer knocked down 6-of-8 attempts for 14 points, while also pulling down eight boards.
Zydrunas Jurgutis also pitched in 11 points and knocked down three treys in the game.

Kevin Kozan contributed nine points and also dished out five assists in the contest.
Henderson State finished the game shooting 21-of-46 from the field for 46 percent, while Lane finished 25-of-62 for 40 percent.
Lane also saw its bench score 20 points while limiting Henderson State to just 10.
The Reddies will look to rebound on Thursday as the team returns home to Arkadelphia to face Great American Conference opponent East Central with tipoff slated for 7:30 p.m.
