The Henderson State volleyball team will host Arkansas Tech in a Great American Conference contest on Tuesday evening at the Duke Wells Center, with first serve set for 6 p.m.
HSU(0-3 GAC) looks to rebound and shake up the conference race against a stout Golden Sun squad.
The Reddies come off a straight-set loss to Southern Arkansas on Thursday, while ATU(3-0 GAC) defeated Ouachita Baptist in three sets.
Violet Williams and
Gabby Ginapp each contributed six kills against SAU, as the Reddies finished the contest hitting at .062 percent.
Henderson State brings in a .053 hitting percentage while Arkansas Tech sports a .288 percentage.
Jessie Jacoby leads the Reddie attack averaging 3.6 kills per set, while
Brea May dishes out 6.2 assists per set.
Defensively, Williams and Ginapp lead in blocks on the season with 21 and 16, respectively, while
Sydney Skelton leads in digs per set at 3.0.
The Golden Suns are led by Hunter Eshnaur who averages 3.6 kills per set, and Katie Huff contributes 2.7 as well.
HSU hopes to protect the home court as the Reddies play on the road against Ouachita, Southern Nazarene, and Oklahoma Baptist for their next three matches.
