The Henderson State volleyball team will travel across the street to Ouachita Baptist on Thursday evening for a 6 p.m. Battle of the Ravine and Great American Conference matchup.
HSU(0-4 GAC) is looking to bounce back after a loss to conference leader Arkansas Tech on Tuesday night, while OBU(2-2 GAC) looks to rebound after falling at Harding on Tuesday.
At Tuesday's game, HSU was led by
Jessie Jacoby who led HSU with nine kills, while
Kaylie Pyles contributed six.
Jacoby is HSU's leader in kills per set this season averaging 3.2, while
Violet Williams averages 1.9.
Brea May leads at the setter position for the Reddies averaging 6.1 assists per set, while Williams leads with 27 blocks on the season for a 0.5 per set average.
Abby Pickett led the Tigers with 16 kills in their match at Harding Tuesday, and also leads the Tigers in kills per set this season with 4.1.
"We really need to pick up a conference win, and this would be a great win for our program," head coach
Kristee Porter said. "We're definitely looking forward to the challenge."
