Following a two week break, Henderson State returned to the court and faced the College of the Faith in exhibition play with the Reddies coming away with a 107-71 win, Saturday at the Duke Wells Center.

Kaylon Tappin led the Reddies with 23 points along with seven rebounds. Tappin was 8-for-14 from the field including four 3-point field goals.

Kevin Kozan followed with 16 points while also having four trifectas.

Aaron Cooper added 11 points with 6 rebounds, while Matt Panaggio totaled 10 points and 7 boards.

Henderson shot 47 percent from the field converting on 39-of-83 attempts, while College of the Faith made 27-of-69 shots for 39 percent.

The Reddies shot a sizzling 54 percent from beyond the arc hitting 13-of-24 attempts with six different players converting a long range jumper.

Henderson dominated the boards outrebounding the Warriors 51 to 40 with Alioune Mboup leading the way with 11.

Henderson will resume Great American Conference play on Thursday when the Reddies travel to Weatherford, Okla. to face Southwestern Oklahoma. Two days later, HSU will take on Northwestern Oklahoma in Alva, Okla.
