Henderson State and Southern Arkansas combined for 24 runs on 25 hits with the Muleriders beating the Reddies 14-10, Tuesday in Magnolia, Ark.
The Reddies, 25-22 on the season, belted out 14 hits in the game with five players having multiple hits in the contest.
Luke McGuire and
Hunter Mayall led Henderson with three hits each. McGuire had two runs batted in while Mayall scored three runs.
Jordan Taylor was 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI.
Tadarious Hawkins went 2-for-4 at the plate with a pair of runs driven in, while
Alex Morgan also had two hits with a double and RBI.
Turner Sparks also had two runs batted in, blasting his first collegiate home run.
Both squads used five pitchers in the game with
Kris Priddy getting the start for the Reddies. Priddy went four-plus innings recoding a pair of strikeouts while giving up seven runs.
Jay Hawley would be tabbed for the loss in relief.
The Reddies will host Ouachita Baptist in a three game series beginning Friday at 6 p.m. at Clyde Berry Field.
