ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Henderson State will look to get its first win in Russellville, Arkansas, since the 2005-06 season on Saturday afternoon when the Reddies take on defending Great American Conference champion Arkansas Tech at 1 p.m. in Tucker Coliseum.

REDDIES REPORT
- Henderson State (4-1, 1-0) got its 2018-19 GAC campaign off to a strong start on Thursday evening when it ran past Southern Arkansas 63-42 in Magnolia. The Reddies held the Lady Muleriders scoreless in the first quarter and held SAU to just 11 total points in the first half.

- The Reddies got good showings from Karrington Whaley, who had a game-high 16 points as well as eight rebounds, Hailey Estes, who had 13 points and nine boards, and Maci Mains, who dished out nine assists.

- Estes currently leads the team in both scoring (17.4 points per game) and rebounding (7.6 rebounds per game). She is currently fourth in the GAC in rebounding and seventh in scoring. Pink Jones is 10th in the conference in scoring (16.0), third in assists per game (4.2) and is shooting 53.8 percent from the field this season. Whaley leads the team in shooting percentage (65.3 percent) and is fifth in the league overall.

- HSU leads the GAC in shooting percentage as a team entering Saturday's game (48.5 percent).

- Henderson faced Arkansas Tech three times last season and finished with a 1-2 record against the Golden Suns. The Reddies got their first win over ATU since 2014 in the first meeting in Arkadelphia, 75-52. Tech won the rematch in Russellville 68-65 and then knocked Henderson out in the GAC semifinals 78-67. HSU led entering the fourth quarter in the semifinal game but was outscored by the Golden Suns 24-11 in the final period.

- Tucker Coliseum has not been kind to the Reddies for more than a decade. Henderson's women have not won in Russellville since the 2005-06 season and have lost 12-straight meetings in Tech's backyard.

SCOUTING ARKANSAS TECH
- Arkansas Tech comes into Saturday's game 3-2 on the year and 1-0 in GAC action after defeating Ouachita Baptist 71-61 on Thursday in Arkadelphia. The Golden Suns were picked second in the 2018-19 GAC preseason poll after winning the conference tournament title a season ago.

- Sophomore guard Jacie Higgins leads ATU in scoring this season (12.4 points per game), while fellow sophomore guard Jayana Sanders, who was a Second Team All-GAC selection last year, averages 11 points and 3.8 assists per game.

- The Golden Suns have had an interesting start to their 2018-19 season. Tech lost its first two games by a combined 47 points, then won its next two by a combined 148 points. ATU defeated Ecclesia College 149-44 and Hendrix College 90-47. The Golden Suns' 149 points, 105-point margin of victory and 64 made field goals were all school records in the win over the Royals.
