ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State secured one of the program's biggest wins of the last decade with a 3-0 victory at Arkansas Tech on Tuesday evening, and the Reddies (14-2, 3-0) will look to keep that momentum going when they welcome Ouachita Baptist to the Duke Wells Center on Thursday night at 6:30 p.m.

The contest will be the first of two matchups between Henderson State and Ouachita Baptist this season, with the re-match taking place on Oct. 23. Henderson State, who is tied for first place in the conference with Southwestern Oklahoma State, is one of just three GAC teams still unbeaten in conference play. Henderson has been on a tear recently, and leads the league in both hitting percentage (.238) and opponent hitting percentage (.151). The Reddies have taken advantage of their size at the net during their 13-match winning streak, and also lead the GAC in total blocks (134) and blocks per set (2.48).

Scouting Ouachita Baptist
The Ouachita Baptist Lady Tigers' 2018 campaign got off to a blistering start, as they swept through two non-conference tournaments and sat pretty at 9-0 after one GAC game. The Lady Tigers have cooled over the past two weeks however, and have lost five of their last seven contests. Ouachita Baptist (11-5, 2-2) is led by senior setter Stormi Leonard, and junior outside hitter Adrianna Nolly, who were both Second Team All-GAC performers in 2017. OBU is guided by first-year head coach Allison Frizzell-Kizer, who spent the last four seasons at Lakeside High School in Hot Springs, Arkansas, before coming to OBU.
