ARKADELPHIA, Ark. -- Henderson State will look to win its eighth game in the last nine meetings with rival Ouachita Baptist on Thursday night when the Reddies and Lady Tigers face off at Bill Vining Arena at 5:30 p.m.

REDDIES REPORT
- Henderson State (11-4, 6-3) as a team ranks third in the Great American Conference in field goal percentage (42.8 percent), third in scoring offense (73.8), and second in 3-point percentage defense (27.7 percent shooting for opponents). The Reddies are currently in fourth place in the GAC standings.

- Karrington Whaley has been on fire from the field over the last several games for HSU. Whaley is 23-for-29 from the floor in the Reddies' last four contests, which is good for a staggering 79.3 percent. She leads the conference in shooting percentage this season (65.6 percent) and is second in the league in blocks per game (1.7).

- Pink Jones is third in the GAC in scoring (16.1 points per game) and assists (4.6 per game). Jones recently passed Aesha Carter and Saprina Reed on Henderson's all-time scoring list and now ranks eighth in program history with 1082 points.

- Blu Jones has been lighting it up from the 3-point line for the Reddies of late. Jones is 11-for-21 from beyond the arc in her last five games (52.4 percent).

- Thursday's game is the 81st meeting all-time between Henderson State and Ouachita Baptist. The Reddies lead the series 42-38 and won all three games last season, which included knocking the Lady Tigers out of the GAC Tournament in the quarterfinals. Henderson has won eight of the last nine meetings with OBU and head coach Jill Thomas has a 9-2 career record against the Lady Tigers.

SCOUTING OUACHITA BAPTIST
- Ouachita Baptist comes into Thursday night's game 5-9 on the year and 3-5 in conference play. The Lady Tigers defeated NWOSU last Saturday to break a five-game losing skid. OBU is led by head coach Garry Crowder, who is the longest-tenured coach on the women's side in the league.

- Senior guard Alivia Huell leads the Lady Tigers in scoring (13.2 points per game) and rebounding (7.5 per game). She has scored in double figures 11 times this season for OBU. Junior guard Madison Brittain averages 12.2 points and has hit 28 3-pointers this year.

- The Lady Tigers have struggled in GAC play so far this season. OBU is last in the league in rebounding margin (-9.6) and second-to-last in scoring offense (59.6 points per game), field goal percentage (36.4 percent), and scoring margin (-11.6). Ouachita, however, is fifth in the conference in 3-point percentage defense and hold opponents to just 31 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
