ARKADELPHIA, Ark. -- Henderson State searches for its first season sweep of Arkansas Tech in over a decade on Saturday when the Reddies face the Golden Suns at 1 p.m. in the Duke Wells Center.

REDDIES REPORT
- Henderson (12-4, 7-3) caught fire against rival Ouachita Baptist on Thursday night and hit a school-record 18 threes in route to a 79-59 win. Hailey Estes and Blu Jones each set new career-highs in points as Estes finished with 26 and Jones with 25. The two combined to hit 15 of the Reddies' 18 3-pointers on the night.

- The Reddies are third in the Great American Conference in scoring offense (74.3 points per game) and in 3-point field goal percentage (34.4 percent). HSU has hit 78 3-pointers in conference play this year, the third-most in the league. Blu Jones has hit 24 of those 3-pointers, which is the second-most of any player in the GAC.

- HSU is one of just two teams in the conference with three players who rank in the Top-15 in scoring in the GAC. Pink Jones and Estes both average 14.9 per game, good for eighth overall, while Blu Jones averages 13 points per game which is 15th in the league.

- Saturday's contest marks the first time this season that the Reddies will face a GAC opponent for the second time. Henderson and Arkansas Tech met back on Dec. 1 with the Reddies pulling out a 70-62 win. It was HSU's first win at Tucker Coliseum since 2008.

- The Reddies and Golden Suns will meet for the 102nd time on Saturday. Arkansas Tech leads the all-time series 70-31 but the two teams have split the last four meetings. Henderson has not completed a season sweep of the Golden Suns since 2005-06. HSU rolled in Arkadelphia last season 75-52 in what was its first win over ATU since January of 2014.

SCOUTING ARKANSAS TECH
- After winning the GAC Tournament title last season and being picked second overall in the 2018-19 preseason poll, the Golden Suns have struggled so far this year and enter Saturday's matchup 6-9 and 3-6 in GAC action. Before beating Harding 68-67 on Thursday, ATU had lost five-straight games.

- Junior guard Hannah Villines leads Tech in scoring this season (12.8 points per game) while sophomore guard Jacie Higgins averages 11.2 points and shoots just under 40 percent from the 3-point line.

- Arkansas Tech has struggled offensively in conference games and is last in the GAC in field goal percentage (36.6 percent). The Golden Suns have the 10th ranked scoring offense in the league (63.4 points per game) but are one of the better rebounding teams in the GAC and average 42 boards per contest.
