ARKADELPHIA, Ark. -- After a two-week break for the holidays, Henderson State will aim to return to its winning ways Thursday, when the Reddies take on Oklahoma Baptist at 7:30 p.m. in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

REDDIES REPORT
- Henderson (8-3, 3-2) picked up one of its biggest wins of the season before Christmas break when the Reddies went on the road to defeat Southeastern Oklahoma 80-65 in Durant, Oklahoma. HSU out-scored the Savage Storm, who were 7-1 at the time, 46-30 in the second half. Rel Johnson had five 3-pointers and a game-high 19 points while Raekwon Rogers finished with a career-high 18 points and nine rebounds.

- Johnson leads the Reddies in scoring (13.3 points per game) and has scored in double figures in eight of 11 games this year. Henderson is 8-0 this season when he scores in double figures and 0-3 when he does not.

- Rogers has attacked the offensive glass with reckless abandon for HSU this year and currently ranks second among all GAC players in offensive rebounds per game (3.3). Of his 61 total rebounds this season 36 of them have been offensive.

- As a team, Henderson is third in the conference in field goal percentage defense, holding opponents to just 41.1 percent shooting from the field. The Reddies are the second-best offensive rebounding team in the league with an average of 12.8 offensive boards per contest.

- Thursday is the 13th meeting all-time between Henderson State and Oklahoma Baptist. The Bison hold the advantage in the series 7-5 and won both games against the Reddies last season.

SCOUTING OKLAHOMA BAPTIST
- Oklahoma Baptist comes into Thursday night's contest 4-6 on the year under first-year head coach Jason Eaker, but 3-1 in the GAC. The Bison's lone conference loss this season came on a buzzer beater to NWOSU.

- The Bison are led by senior guard Antonio Wade, who leads the team in scoring (17 points per game) and assists (5.2 per game). Wade is shooting 52.5 percent from the field and 52.8 percent from the 3-point line but struggles at the free throw line where he shoots just 55.1 percent on the year. Dishon Lowery, a transfer forward from DI Wofford College, averages 12.2 points and 9.9 rebounds per game for OKBU.

- As a team, OKBU has the top scoring offense in the GAC, averaging 80 points per game against league competition. The Bison also boast the best 3-point percentage defense in the conference, where they have held GAC opponents to just 26.9 percent shooting this year.
