SEARCY, Ark. — Harding made life difficult for Henderson State on Friday afternoon and defeated the Reddies 5-2 in the first meeting of the year between the two GAC teams.
The Bisons swept through doubles play to go up 1-0 in the match, then took four of the six singles contests to run away for the win. The bright spots for HSU were Georjemah Row and Franny Nyarko, who claimed victories in No. 2 and No. 3 singles for the Reddies.
Henderson (6-3) returns to the court on Mar. 15 when it plays Nebraska-Kearney at 9 a.m. in Russellville, Arkansas.
