LIVE VIDEO | LIVE RADIO BROADCAST | LIVE STATS

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State's terrific season reaches its apex on Sunday at 1 p.m. when the No. 3 seed Reddies face the No. 4 seed Oklahoma Baptist for the 2020 Great American Conference Tournament Championship in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

REDDIES REPORT
- Henderson (22-8) will play for its first ever GAC title in men's basketball on Sunday. The Reddies have made one prior appearance in the GAC Championship game in 2014 when they lost to Harding 94-88 in double overtime.

- HSU has not won a conference tournament title since 2002-03 when it captured the Gulf South Conference Tournament championship. The Reddies have not won a conference championship of any kind since the GSC West Division title in 2006-07.

- The Reddies are in search of their first berth in the NCAA DII Tournament since 2006-07 when they advanced to the semifinals of the South Regional. HSU made seven NCAA Tournament appearances in nine years from 1998 to 2007. Henderson was No. 9 in the final Central Region Rankings and OKBU was No. 8.

- Henderson is just the second No. 3 seed to ever advance to the GAC Tournament title game since the inception of the league in 2011-12, joining rival Ouachita Baptist, who won the title in 2016 as the No. 3 seed.

- HSU and Oklahoma Baptist split the two meetings between the teams in the regular season. Henderson won 83-70 in the first matchup in Arkadelphia, while the Bison claimed a 78-77 win on a buzzer beater from Rashad Lewis in Shawnee back in February. The Reddies are 5-5 in their last 10 meetings with OKBU.

- Henderson has won seven of its last eight games entering the championship game on Sunday. Three of the Reddies' last four contests have gone into overtime and HSU has won two of those games. In each of its last three wins, Henderson had trailed by four or more at the half.

- Chris Parker has had back-to-back 19 point games for Henderson in the first two games of the GAC Tournament. Parker scored 22 points against the Bison in the road loss in February and hit the would-have-been game-winning 3-pointer with five seconds to go. The junior had 16 points in the Reddies' win over OKBU in January.

- Raekwon Rogers is shooting 17-for-25 (68%) from the floor through two games at the GAC Tournament. Rogers shot 76.9% from the field in the Reddies' final 15 games of the regular season.

- HSU's defense has been terrific in its two wins to this point at the GAC Tournament. The Reddies held UAM to 32.5% shooting on Friday and Southeastern Oklahoma State to 43.1% shooting on Saturday. Henderson shot 49.2% against UAM and 46.8% against SOSU.
