ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – After a hard-fought game against Arkansas Tech, Henderson State (1-1) heads east to Searcy, Arkansas to take on the Harding Lady Bisons Thursday, Jan. 14. HSU's quest for its second win begins at 5:30 p.m. inside Rhodes-Reaves Field House.

REDDIES REPORT
- Henderson State comes into this contest off of its first loss of the season despite shooting 52.9% from behind-the-arc in the first half against ATU. Jadah Pickens and Lani Snowden delivered the most damage from deep range, going 4-for-9 and 3-for-8, respectively.

- With three treys in the game, Snowden passed Regina Koonce for fifth all-time in three-pointers made at HSU with 140. The senior guard sits 13 back from fourth-place. The last time Snowden played Harding, she torched the Lady Bisons with six threes on nine attempts.

- Senior forward Karrington Whaley looks to become the all-time blocks leader at Henderson State Thursday evening as she currently sits at 106, two shy of breaking Aesha Carter's record. Whaley set the single-game record for blocks with eight back on Feb. 24, 2018 against Harding.

- The two programs split their two regular season matchups last season with Harding prevailing in the first game, 66-64, and then HSU getting its revenge two months later, 88-79. Winning at Rhodes-Reaves Field House has been a tall order, however, as Henderson has not won in Searcy since early 2016.

- The Reddies look to be fully healthy for the first time all season coming into this contest, as they were without two starters to open the year. Junior Maci Mains leads the team in scoring with 20.5 points per game while Whaley is averaging a double-double with 13.5 points per game and 10.0 rebounds per game.

SCOUTING HARDING
- Harding (0-2) comes into this matchup after dropping games to Arkansas-Monticello and Arkansas Tech by a total of seven points. The Lady Bisons started 0-2 in conference play last year before finishing 16-6 in the Great American Conference and claiming the No. 2 seed in the GAC Tournament.

- Due to the Lady Bisons' game against Ouachita Baptist being canceled because of COVID-19 protocols, Henderson will be welcomed in as HU's home-opener. Harding was 10-1 against conference opponents at home last season.

- Sage Hawley leads the way for Harding with 15.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game through two contests. The last outing saw Hawley and Kellie Lampo both contribute 14 points to lead HU in scoring, followed by Jordan Elder with 13.

- Harding's Tim Kirby is seeking his 300th win as the Bison's head coach. Kirby is in his 16th season as the leader of the program in Searcy with an overall record of 299-147.
