ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Coming off its walk-off victory against Southern Arkansas, Henderson State will look to make it two in a row when they take on cross-street rival Ouachita Baptist in the first women's edition of the Battle of the Ravine. Tip-off inside Bill Vining Arena is set for 5:30 p.m.

REDDIES REPORT
- Sophomore forward
Tamia Templeton saw the best game of her HSU career against Southern Arkansas on Saturday when she put together a 20 point, nine rebound performance on 60% shooting from the field (9-15).
Maci Mains came in just behind Templeton with 19 points on 50% shooting (7-14) while pitching in seven assists.
Â
- The Reddies led for less than four minutes against Southern Arkansas in the victory thanks in large part to HSU's ability to put the ball through the hoop consistently. Henderson shot a season-high 50.8% from the field (31-61).
Â
- Henderson State has dominated the Battle of the Ravine as of recent, having won seven in a row against the Tigers. The last time OBU defeated the Reddies was in 2017. However, you have to go back to 2014 to find the last time HSU fell to OBU inside Bill Vining Arena.
Â
- The win put Henderson State squarely in third place in the Eastern Division behind Arkansas Tech and Harding. The remaining teams behind HSU consist of Arkansas-Monticello, Southern Arkansas, and Ouachita Baptist.

SCOUTING OUACHITA BAPTIST
- After numerous bouts with Covid-19, Ouachita Baptist finally got to play its first game of its 2020-21 season Saturday, Feb. 6 against the Lady Bisons of Harding. OBU lost its hard-fought season-opener, 66-63 as it was led by sophomore Makayla Miller's 21 points.
Â
- Ouachita's defense forced the Lady Bisons into their worst shooting performance on the season, connecting on only 27.3% of their attempts (18-66). OBU's leading scorer on the night also led the way with defense as she was responsible for two blocks and two steals. The Tigers registered eight blocks in the contest.
Â
- The matchup against Henderson State will act as OBU's home-opener. Last year, Ouachita Baptist was 4-10 at home compared to 0-13 on the road. The Tigers averaged 63.6 points per game when playing inside Bill Vining Arena in 2019-2020.
