ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Henderson State will play its second game in less than a week after missing two weeks due to Covid protocol when the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns come to the Duke Wells Center for the second meeting of the season Friday, Mar. 26 at 6 p.m. This contest will be a rematch of the five-set thriller in Russellville, Arkansas, back on Feb. 9.

Henderson State (3-5, 3-5)
The Reddies are 2-3 since facing Arkansas Tech the first time around. Mya Robinson led the attack for HSU in the first meeting with Tech as the junior saw 15 kills along with three service aces, though Henderson came up just short, 3-2. Kaitlyn Sykes held down the defensive front, giving the Reddies five blocks on the evening.

Until Arkansas Tech beat Henderson earlier in the year, HSU had won the last matchup between the two teams. The Reddies have not beaten the Golden Suns inside the Duke Wells Center, however, since 2018 when HSU won 3-0 with current-senior Abby Blackburn registering 25 assists in the sweep.

Arkansas Tech (6-2, 6-2)
After a brief stint in the top-25, ATU received votes in the latest edition of the American Volleyball Coaches Association coaches poll. The 6-2 Golden Suns are 2-1 on the road this season. Arkansas Tech is coming off a 3-0 sweep against Southern Arkansas after falling to the Muleriders, 3-1, at SAU's place two weeks prior.

Following her is Emily Ragsdale with 41 kills on 105 total attacks for an attack percentage of .219.
