ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Henderson State volleyball team breaks from Great American Conference action when they travel on Monday to face Christian Brothers at 6 p.m. in the Canale Arena.Â

REDDIES REPORT
Henderson State (13-6, 5-2) finished last week 1-1 at home with a 3-2 defeat to Southwestern Oklahoma State and a 3-0 victory against Northwestern Oklahoma State in the second match.

The Reddies racked up 97 kills over the two contests, led by
Christiane Uzoh, who registered 27 kills on the week.
Violeta Mendoza Quintana and
Jagoda Szybinska backed Uzoh in attack with 42 combined kills. Uzoh leads the team with 185 kills and is averaging 2.98 a set on a .247 attack average.

Brae Denton and
Trinity Sharp led a defense that held SWOSU to a .164 attack average and NWOSU to a .089 attack average. Denton totaled 10.0 blocks over the two matches, including seven against Southwestern Oklahoma State. In addition, the Greenbrier, Ark. native had 13 kills and three digs over the two contests. Sharp led the back row with 33 digs and added two service aces to her totals.

HSU and Christian Brothers met earlier this season in the Reddie-Tiger Invitational when Henderson defeated the Lady Bucs 3-0. The Reddies' win extended its win streak to six over CBU, leading the all-time series 23-16. In the first match, Uzoh had 11 kills, while
Madison Hatt and Sharp recorded 20 assists and 17 digs, respectively.

SCOUTING CHRISTIAN BROTHERS
The Lady Bucs enter the non-conference matchup on a five-match losing streak after falling to West Georgia 3-0 in their most recent league match. Christian Brothers have just two wins this season and are 2-16 overall and 1-6 in the Gulf South Conference.

CBU's offense is led by middle hitters Calah Jackson and Alma Solis, who lead the team with 108 and 105 kills, respectively. Jackson is averaging 1.89 kills per set, while Solis is hitting a team-best .189 a clip. The Lady Bucs are averaging 9.5 kills a set as a team and have an attack average of .116.
In defense, Sofia Rathheim-Hilton leads the team in digs with 166 and is one of three players with 100 or more, as Sarah Allyn Thornell has 149 and Maddi Rowley has recorded 105. Rathheim-Hilton and Thornell combined 14 digs against West Georgia in the most recent match.
