ADA, Okla.  -  Henderson State's cross country team closed out its 2024 season with an 11th place finish at the GAC Cross Country Championships in Ada, Oklahoma.

The Reddies tallied 324 points as a team in the women's 5K event.

Ouachita Baptist finished with a score of 48 to claim its second conference title in three years. Arkansas Tech and host East Central rounded out the podium with 58 points and 76 points, respectively. Oklahoma Baptist's Sophia Strange posted the day's top individual time at 18:22.32.

Heidy Galvan recorded the Reddies' best individual performance with a time of 20:47.71. Natalie Jennings made the top 100 by finishing the race at the 22:18.00 mark. Jade Tatum and Angela Dorado Marin both completed the event in under 25 minutes.
