Reddies Drop Season Opener to Jennies

WARRENSBURG, Mo.  -  Henderson State fell to host Central Missouri by a score of 76-49 in the opening game of the 2024-25 Central Bank Cross Regional Tournament.

After splitting games with top 25 opponents at last weekend's D2CAA Tip-Off Classic, the Jennies had three players score 12 or more points en route to a victory on their home court.

Brynlee Huggins led the Reddies with 11 points, while Jadah Pickens followed close behind with 10.

Makenna Winans paced the team with eight rebounds, including three offensive boards.

Henderson State is set to close tournament play tomorrow morning against Missouri Southern. Tip-off at the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
