ADA, Okla.  -  Henderson State improved its conference record to 2-0 with a 67-58 victory at East Central on Saturday.

With the scored tied at 24 at the four-minute mark in the first half, the Reddies went on a 13-5 run to close out the period. HSU outscored the Tigers 30-29 over the game's last 20 minutes to provide the final result.

As a team, Henderson had a field goal percentage of 45.6 percent in the win.

Nehikhare Igiehon paced the Reddies with 19 points while shooting a team-best 70 percent from the floor.

Matthew Mayes led the team with eight rebounds and posted 12 points. His plus-minus rating of plus-15 was the best of either team in Saturday's contest.

Deazhon Perkins also reached the double-digit mark with 10 points and finished with a plus-minus of plus-11.

Jamarion Brown contributed six points and two steals in a plus-11 effort.

The Reddies will look to pick up a third consecutive GAC road victory at Arkansas Tech on Thursday, December 12. Tip-off at Tucker Coliseum is set for 7:30 p.m.
