SHAWNEE, Okla. – Reddies look to bounce back from first conference road loss versus Bison in the Noble Complex.

Henderson State faces off against Oklahoma Baptist, a matchup of two teams tied for second in the conference. Henderson State dropped its first conference road game of the season versus Southern Nazarene, shooting just 42.3 percent from the field.
Nehikhare Igiehon was the only Reddie to score in double digits.

The Reddies currently have eight players averaging five or more points per game during conference play with
Nehikhare Igiehon leading the team with 14.7 ppg while shooting 52 percent from the field and leading the team in rebounds with 6.9 rpg. Igiehon is currently tied for third in the conference in offensive rebounds per game (2.6). Mayes is averaging 2.9 steals per game and 0.9 block per game, leading the conference in stocks per game. Mayes was named GAC Defensive Player of the Week last week after posting five steals and two blocks against UAM. Star freshman
Rondae Hill has made an immediate impact, averaging 9.1 ppg while shooting 41 percent from deep.

During conference play the Reddies are second in the conference in offense, averaging 75 ppg. As a team the Reddies are led by their conference leading 48.3 percent shooting from the field while holding opponents to just 44.1 percent.

The Reddies split the season series with the Bison last season, winning at home by five points,
Tim McDonald scored 13 points on 60 percent shooting in the win.

Oklahoma Baptist enters the matchup 10-5 overall and 7-2 in conference. The Bison dropped their first home game of this season versus Ouachita on Thursday. At home Oklahoma Baptist is 5-1 and are outscoring opponents by 13.5 ppg.

A balanced offense for the Bison is led by Terry Coner Jr., averaging 16.4 ppg during conference play. Coner Jr. is shooting 38.1 percent from deep during conference play and leads the team in assists with 3.6 apg.

In their last outing versus Ouachita Baptist the Bison went into halftime with a six-point lead but were outscored in the second half by 18 points. The Bison scored just 59 points but have averaged 74.6 ppg during conference play. Against Ouachita Baptist the Bison shot just 33.3 percent from the field and 22.7 percent from deep.

Xavier Owens had his best game since his 30-point performance versus Champion Christian. Owens scored 16 points on 7-11 shooting from the field in just 23 minutes versus Northwestern.

Nehikhare Igiehon posted his first double-double of the season against Northwestern, scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds.
