Kaylon Partain earned her first Defensive Player of the Week honor this season.
The Atlanta, Texas native has recorded 20+ digs in three straight matches, including a career-high tying 37 digs against Southwestern Oklahoma State a week ago. This last week, Partain recorded 20 digs against Southeastern Oklahoma State, averaging 6.67 digs per set. Against East Central, Partain had 27 digs, and averaged 6.75 digs per set.
She is currently the national leader in digs (505), ranks third in the nation in digs per set (5.90), and leads the GAC in both categories.
Partain and the Reddies (12-11, 4-5) host Oklahoma Baptist in the Duke Wells Center on October 23rd at 6:00 PM.
